Surgical Expertise, with GC Aesthetics
Christophe Lucchini, you are Group Chief Information Officer at GC Aesthetics. Could you briefly introduce your company?
Christophe Lucchini : GC Aesthetics is one of the global leaders in aesthetic services, particularly in the production, distribution, and sale of breast implants. Our portfolio also includes products dedicated to reconstruction, notably for severe burn patients. We operate internationally through multiple offices and manufacturing sites worldwide.
You also provide support for medical professionals.
CL : Absolutely. We have developed a wide range of resources through the GCA Academy, our online training platform. It gives plastic surgeons and physicians VIP access to video tutorials, business insights, and best practice guidance in aesthetic medicine.
“Migration needed”
What are your ERP needs?
CL : Our ERP needs cover all business functions, including logistics, production, and finance. However, our current priority is migrating from our existing ERP version, Microsoft AX 2012, to a more recent one: Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
How did you start working with FiveForty?
CL : The collaboration with FiveForty began in January 2020, initiated by my predecessor, David Beot. Since then, it has continued to grow stronger.
What initial assessment can you make of this collaboration?
CL : Clearly, I see a real step up for both GCA and FiveForty. This collaboration has also contributed to the development of human resources on both sides, thanks to the delivery of major joint projects such as ERP migration and restructuring initiatives. Today, I can say that FiveForty and GC Aesthetics work hand in hand on all ERP projects.
What is the biggest challenge you are currently tackling with FiveForty?
CL : We currently face two major challenges. The first is the complete restructuring of our logistics flows. The second is migrating our outdated AX 2012 ERP to Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
“Responsive professionals”
What do you appreciate most about FiveForty?
CL : That’s a difficult question because there are many things we value. Personally, the two aspects I appreciate most are their professionalism and their responsiveness.
What areas for improvement would you identify?
CL : Everyone has areas for improvement, both at GCA and at FiveForty. For FiveForty, I would mainly point to resource prioritization and project visibility, particularly regarding task progress and key milestones from a client perspective.
What would you say to a friend to recommend FiveForty?
CL : If you are looking for a solid integrator, capable of evolving with its clients and supporting them on large scale projects, I would recommend FiveForty.
What should they be particularly mindful of?
CL : I would advise paying close attention to the exchanges between FiveForty experts and the client, to avoid discussions becoming overly technical during project steering meetings.
In three words, how does FiveForty differ from others?
CL : Responsiveness, flexibility, and professionalism.
On a scale from 1 to 5, how would you rate your relationship with FiveForty?
CL : Four. In my view, a score of five means there is no room for improvement, and everyone can always improve. Four is still a very strong rating, as FiveForty is a very good partner.
